Robert Leonard “Bob” Morris passed away Sunday, November 20, 2005 at his home in Pearland after a courageous battle with brain cancer. He was 56 years old, born November 11, 1949 in Houston to Claude and Delta Landry Morris. A former resident of Pasadena, Bob proudly served his country in the U. S. Air Force Reserves. He was an active member of The Vineyard Church of Pearland. He was a prayer warrior for his church family and truly had a servant’s heart. Bob served his Lord as a member of the Vineyard’s pastoral care team, coordinating and overseeing prayer group ministry. He was leader for the weekly life group meetings and was coordinator for the Vineyard’s team of ushers and greeters. Bob will be fondly remembered for his “Bob hugs” and for his love for playing the game of golf. Bob is survived by a loving family; his wife of 21 years, Jaci, his mother, Delta Morris, of Pasadena, sister, Anita Rose, of Katy, special sister, Betty Ann Boggs, of Pearland, aunts, Dee Orlopp and Sister Margaret Mary Landry, uncles, Dennis Landry and Tom Morris, his beloved dog, Izmecute, numerous other relatives and a host friends. A Celebration of Bob’s Life will be held at 11 AM Saturday, November 26, 2005, at The Vineyard Church of Houston, 1035 E. 11th St., Houston, 77009, with Alan Allen officiating.
