Obituary of Maria Isabel Rojas

Maria Isabel Rojas, 73, passed away Tuesday, November 24, 2015. She is preceded in death by her parents, Agustin and Eneteria Garcia; and her loving husband, Pablo Rojas. Maria is survived by her sons, Juan Pablo Rojas and wife, Teri, Raul Rojas, Eduardo Rojas and wife, Rosie, Hamberto Rojas, Mauricio Rojas and Agustin Rojas; daughter, Christina Rojas-Velazquez and husband, Ruben; sixteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends. Maria was a wonderful, hardworking wife and mother. She worked for Fort Bend ISD for more than 20 years and loved her job dearly; only retiring to stay home and help take care of her husband when he got sick. Maria always sacrificed for others in her family and was always available to others in need. She will be remembered fondly for her love, patience and forgiveness to everyone. Maria enjoyed growing flowers and spending time outdoors. She was affectionately known as Grandma to all the grandkids and great grandkids and cherished spending time with them. Maria was known for her great faith and for always having a smile. She will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her. A visitation for Maria will be held Monday, November 20, 2015 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm with a rosary recited at 6:30 pm at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, Texas 77581. The funeral service will take place Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at 10:00 am at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Fresno Cemetery in Fresno, Texas.
