Richard Jesse Bailey, Jr., 59, passed away Wednesday, January 27, 2016. He is preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Sammie Bailey. Richard is survived by his loving wife Nancy Peck; sons, Jesse Bailey and wife, Debra, Jason Bailey and wife, Jennifer; sister, Deborah Zuehlke and husband James; three nieces, brothers, Jerry Snider and Wendell Snider and wife Jackie, seven grandchildren, Nancy's children; Stephen Peck, Melissa Burke, Kerrie Burnett and husband, Mike; and a host of other family and friends. Richard was a hard worker and excellent provider for his family all his life. In his younger days he loved to ride bulls. And after high school started working with his dad in the oil field. He enjoyed welding and working with his hands. He loved his boys and enjoyed going out to their homes to help build things for them. Richard and Nancy first met one another in junior high. They both had their concealed handgun licenses and enjoyed going to the gun range and shooting together. Richard enjoyed spending time with Nancy talking and holding hands. He was quite a man and loved his family dearly. Richard will be fondly remembered for his love for relaxing and listening to country music. He will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him. A Memorial Service for Richard will be held Saturday, January 30, 2016 at 11:00 am at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, Texas 77581 with Pastor Mike Burnett officiating.
