Glen Paul Jeansonne Sr., 62, passed away Wednesday, February 3, 2016. He is preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Ena Mae Jeansonne. Glen is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Lucretia Jeansonne; son, Glen Jeansonne Jr. and wife, Michelle; daughter, Tara Gray and husband, Chris; brother, Gary Jeansonne; sisters, Barbara Jeansonne, Cynthia Curry, and Carol Rose; grandchildren, Tori, Taylor, Ayla, Kaylee, Glen III, Madison and Colton; great grandson, Keagan; and a host of other family and friends. Glen loved his work and was a successful contractor for more than 40 years. He loved his family very much and was a great provider. Glen loved his motorcycle and always looked forward to going fishing on his boat. He strongly believed that there was only one way to do things and that was the “right way”. He was affectionately known as Papa to all of his grandkids and he had nicknames for all of them. Glen had a wonderful sense of humor and had imaginary friends, “Marcy” and “Tommy” who he always teased his grandkids about. He was a man of great conviction and always stood by his word. Glen will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him. The viewing and funeral mass for Glen will be held on Friday, February 5, 2016 beginning at 9:00 am with the service at 10:00 am at St. Helen Catholic Church, 2209 Old Alvin Road, Pearland, Texas 77581 with Father Jim Courville officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery in Houston, Texas.
