Nancy Morrow Bailey, 76, passed away peacefully Thursday, June 23, 2016 in her sleep. She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Agnes Miller. Nancy is survived by her daughters, Allison Sonnier and husband, Ben; Kristen Palmer and husband, Tim; sisters, Mae Brinck and husband, Carl; Margaret Klukas and husband, Martin and Roberta Thurrott, grandchildren, Katherine Elizabeth Lopez (Katie) and husband, Jose, Matthew Alexander and Andrew Morgan Sonnier, Abby Claire and Sarah Elise McGee. She also leaves behind a host of extended family and friends whose lives she touched. Nancy was a woman of strong faith and a devoted member of Peace Presbyterian Church for many years. She was a nurse for over 50 years, had a servant’s heart and truly loved helping others in need. Nancy was fiercely independent and inspired everyone she knew with her compassion, energy, and zest for life. She was an avid reader, loved doing puzzles and playing Mahjong with her friends. She often traveled and loved going to different places and was especially fond of her annual family trips to Lake Belton. Nancy was affectionately known as “Mimi” or “Grammy” to her grandchildren and she cherished every opportunity she had to spend time with them. She will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her. A Memorial Service for Nancy will be held Friday, July 1, 2016 at 11:00 am at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, Texas 77581with Pastor Scott Cummings officiating.
