Julia and William raised their family in Houston Texas, where they were members of St. Christopher’s Catholic Church. Julia moved to Pearland, to live closer to her daughter after the loss of her husband. She was a member of St. Helens Catholic Church. Julia was lovingly known as Gramma and her life centered around her faith, family and church. She had deep beliefs that were nurtured in a large family where faith and family were the cornerstones. Julia loved everything in nature and also enjoyed gardening. She was very strong, kind, generous and compassionate. She treasured life and spending time with family and friends. She will always be remembered as a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Julia’s true legacy is her deep devotion to the Lord, the blessed mother, her Family and her trust in Gods will. Her love and faith are the foundation of our family. Her life’s focus truly was the journey home. We miss her dearly and thank God for the blessing of her beautiful life. “So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen in eternal.” 2 Corinthians 4:18 A visitation and rosary for Julia will be held Sunday, September 11, 2016 at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W.
