Obituary of Robert Lee Wagner

Robert Lee Wagner, 72, passed away surrounded by his family Tuesday, May 23, 2017.  He is preceded in death by his parents Joe and Ida Wagner; his loving wife of 32 years, Karen Wagner; and his brothers Daniel Wagner and Harlen Wagner.  Robert is survived by his devoted son, Brian Christopher Wagner and wife, Jessica; brothers, Kenneth Wagner and wife, Linda and Nolan Wagner and wife, Theresa; sisters-in-law, Vickie Wagner and Patsy Wagner; grandchildren, Rebecca, Nathan, Ian, Caleb and Alexander; and a host of other family and dear friends.

Robert was a hardworking and good provider for his family.  He had a successful career in the heat exchange business for more than 20 years.  Robert was patriotic and served his country proudly in the United States Marines.  He especially enjoyed spending quality time with family and friends and loved to cook indoors and outdoors for them.   Robert took great interest in watching the news and staying up to date on current events.  He especially loved watching movies. Robert was strong in his Catholic faith and remained steadfast in his devotion to church.  He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

A visitation and rosary for Robert will be held Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, Texas 77581.  The visitation will be held from 5:30 until 8:00 pm with the Rosary recited at 6:00 pm.  The Funeral Mass will take place Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at 11:00 am at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, 6502 County Road 48, Manvel, TX 77578 with Father Tom Ponzini.  Interment will follow at SouthPark Resurrection Cemetery, Pearland, Texas.
