Susan Maynard Clark, 64, of Pearland, Texas passed away on Thursday, April 12, 2018. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ethel Rushing and Robert Maynard, Jr. Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 42 years, Steve Clark; daughters, Christine Rucker, Brandy Lacoste and husband, Anthony; brothers, Robert Maynard and wife, Eunice, Steve Maynard and wife, Sylvia; sisters Camilla Hudson and husband, Jay, Lisa Layton and husband, Roscoe; grandchildren, Hunter, Mason, Kyla, Peyton, Jayden, Collin, Ruby June, Michael; and a host of other family and dear friends.

Susan enjoyed playing golf with her husband and daughters, dancing, and writing poetry. She was a great dancer and a lifelong performer. She was always the greatest cheerleader in the stand at her daughters’ ball games. Susan liked to go out to eat and try new restaurants, but she loved cooking meals for her family and having meal time around the table. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

A visitation for Susan will be held at St. Helen Catholic Church, 2209 Old Alvin Road, Pearland, Texas 77581, on Tuesday, April 17, 2018, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, with a rosary being held at 7:00 pm. The funeral mass will be held at St. Helen Catholic Church, on Wednesday, April 18, 2018, at 10:00 am, with Father Jim Courville officiating. Interment at SouthPark Cemetery to follow.
