Candido Marcus “Mark” Ramirez passed away Tuesday, January 18, 2005 at the age of 41 years. Mark was born January 24, 1963 in Galveston, Texas to Candido and Rebecca Ayala Ramirez. He is preceded in death by a beloved sister, Lisa Garcia, and is survived by a loving family; three children, Mark Anthony, of Deer Park, and Elizabeth and Sarah, both of Seabrook; his mother, Rebecca Ramirez, of Deer Park; his father, Candido Ramirez, of San Leon; his sister and brother-in-law, Christina and Steve Belter, of Friendswood; nephews, Aiden Belter, of Friendswood and Benny Garcia, of Deer Park; his former wife and dear friend, Yvonne Ramirez, of Seabrook; and numerous aunts and uncles, cousins, and other nieces and nephews from Texas City, Baytown, Galveston, Pasadena, San Antonio, La Marque and Alaska. Visitation hours were held Friday, January 21, 2005, from 6 – 8 PM, at Clayton Funeral and Cemetery Services, in Pearland. Funeral services were held Saturday, January 22, 2005; the funeral procession departed the funeral home at 9:15 AM, for the Celebration of the Funeral Liturgy at 10:00 AM, at St. Hyacinth Catholic Church, 2921 Center St., in Deer Park, with Rev. Richard E. Barker, celebrating. Interment followed at Bethany Cemetery, in Pasadena.
