Larry Alan Ward D.C. , 74 years old went home to be with the Lord on February 28, 2023 in Pasadena , Texas . He was born October 31, 1948 in Tampa Florida . He is preceded in death by his parents Thomas Aubrey Ward,Francis Brittle Ward and his brother Michael Ward. He is survived by his loving wife, of 48 yrs Margaret Ortegon Ward, his brother Thomas Ward, his 4 sons Larry Jr. Calzoncit and wife Brianne, Mike Calzoncit and wife Lori, Paul Ward and wife Lorena , Scott Ward and wife Ariana and daughter April Ward and fiancé Mike Scott.; 8 grandchildren Julia Calzoncit, Emilia Calzoncit, Michael McNatt, Demri Ward, Nathan Ward,Olivia Ward, Aubrey Ward,and Aiden Ward. Also, numerous nephews and nieces.
He was born on October 31, 1948 in Tampa, Florida, where he grew up with his brothers and numerous cousins and found his love for the beach . He graduated from Hillsborough high school in 1967 then went to Miami Dade Junior college. After that he moved to Texas and attended the University of Texas at San Antonio . It was at this point he decided he wanted to become a chiropractor and moved him to La Porte where he studied at Texas Chiropractic College of Pasadena. He graduated in 1989 and through his passion for chiropractic, selflessly served his community and the people he cared for, for 34 years.During those years he opened Edgebrook Chiropractic , La Porte Chiropractc, and Cotulla Chiropractic.For the past 10 years he continued seeing patients as a relief Dr. for other clinics all over Houston and surrounding areas .
Along the way he met the love of his life and had 5 children . He loved being a husband, father, grandfather ,and friend. He had a great sense of humor , loved the beach and spending time with his family. He went above and beyond to help his loved ones and friends . His hard work ethic and love for his family are things that will always be remembered .
