Obituary of Daniel Ray Keane

Daniel Ray Keane, 73, passed away Tuesday, November 4, 2014. He is preceded in death by his parents, Daniel and Alice Keane. Dan is survived by his loving wife, of 29 years, Wilma Olan Keane; son, Daniel Olan Keane; brothers, Patrick Keane and wife, Carol, Dennis Keane and wife, Lynn; sister, Sue Anderson and husband, Frank; nephews, David, Michael and Ryan Keane; nieces, Alison Keane, Cassandra Asklund, Amy Shultz; and a host of other family and friends.
Dan was a wonderful husband, father, son, brother and uncle. People enjoyed talking to him due to his good sense of humor. He was a very selfless man and had a big generous heart who gladly gave and helped others in need. Dan took great pride in his son, Danny and all of his accomplishments. Dan was a graduate of the University of Iowa and proudly served his country in the United States Army while stationed in Korea. He worked as Director of Human Resources in different companies both in U.S. and abroad. He and Wilma met while both were working in Saudi Arabia. Together, they never got tired of traveling and visited many countries around the world. Dan enjoyed history, art, oriental rugs and challenging his mind with crossword puzzles. He will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him.
A funeral service for Daniel will be held on Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at 1:00 pm at St. Helen Catholic Church, 2209 Old Alvin Road, Pearland, Texas 77581 with Father James Courville officiating.
