Obituary of Erica Jannette Reyna-Gray

Erica Jannette Reyna-Gray, 27, passed away Monday, December 8, 2014. She is survived by her parents, Mario and Irma Reyna; her loving husband, Brandon Gray; daughter, Ily Mikayla Gray; grandparents, Cristobal and Maria Garcia, Glafiro Reyna; brother, Mario Reyna; sister, Andrea Reyna; Henry and Beverly Gray; and a host of other family and friends. Erica was a true patriot who proudly served her country in the United States Air Force. She was well-built in her faith spreading God’s hope by the manner in which she willingly and gracefully accepted to partake in Christ’s cross. With few words and her fearless acceptance of God’s will she could effortlessly inspire many. Erica was a devoted daughter, sister, wife and mother that doted on her daughter, Ily. Throughout her battle with cancer, Erica was determined to fight and maintained a sense of inner peace which inspired everyone around her, including many unfamiliar persons. She will forever be remembered for her unique, amazing heart, her warrior spirit, and her steady persevering force. Erica loved many and many loved her. She took to heaven, for God’s eternal glory, a great deal of love and prayers from family, friends and strangers. Erica will absolutely be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her. A visitation for Erica will be held Thursday, December 18, 2014 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, Texas 77581. The funeral service will take place Friday, December 19, 2014 at 10:00 am at CT Legacy Church, 9701 Almeda Genoa, Houston, Texas 77075 with Pastor Vaughn Walwyn officiating. Interment with military honors will follow at Houston National Cemetery in Houston, Texas
