Obituary of Gary Wayne Moss

Gary Wayne Moss, 56, passed away Sunday, December 21, 2014. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Megan Moss. Gary is survived by his father Lewis Moss and wife, Sidney; mother, Rita Hoover and husband, Travis; his loving wife of 18 years, Danette Moss; daughters, Alichia and Laura Moss; brother, Lewis Moss Jr. and wife, Sharon; sisters, Charla Bradley and husband, David, LeLainya Moss; grandchildren, Diamadi, William, Jorge, Jaeden and Arijana; and a host of other family and friends. Gary was a carpenter and a free spirit that traveled the country by the seat of his pants, working along the way to get to the next place. When he met Danette, he settled down and became a stay-at-home Dad. He loved his family very much and had a strong commitment to them. Gary was strong in his faith and maintained strong determination throughout his health issues. He and Danette were truly best friends and loved their life together. He will be remembered for his love of old western movies and the joy he got from going fishing. Gary will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him. A visitation for Gary will be held Monday, December 22, 2014 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, Texas 77581. The graveside service will take place at 9:00 am at SouthPark Cemetery, 1310 North Main Street, Pearland, Texas 77581 with DC Brown officiating.
