Obituary of Louise Leuttella Nix

Louise Leuttella Nix, 79, passed away Friday, February 6, 2015. She is preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Moletta Misiak; her loving husband of 50 years, Bob W. Nix; brothers, Floyd L. Watkins Jr. and Budd Watkins. Louise is survived by her sons, Michael R. Nix and wife, Kathy, Raymond E. Nix and wife, Alison; daughter, Deborah J. Gonzales and husband, Marcus; grandchildren, Robert M. Guzman II, Garrett Nix, Alexandra R. Nix, Amber L.A. Gonzales; great grandchildren, Abigail G. Guzman, Robert M. Guzman III, Kaitlyn R. Guzman; and a host of other family and friends. Louise was devoted to her family and to her faith. She was active in her church and enjoyed her women’s group, Sunday school classes, and volunteering at the church whenever she could. Louise loved all babies and was affectionately known as “Grandma” and “G.G.” to her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed ceramics, traveling and playing either dominoes or cards with the grandchildren. Louise cherished spending time with her family and leaves a lasting legacy for them to follow. She will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her. A visitation for Louise will be held on Tuesday, February 10, 2015 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, Texas 77581. The funeral service will take place Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at 10:00 am at the funeral home with Pastor Rex Forsyth officiating. Interment will follow at SouthPark Cemetery in Pearland, Texas.
