Daniel Wayne “Dan†Morrow, a resident of Pearland and former resident of Texas City, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, September 19, 2007 at the age of 58 years. Dan was born May 29, 1949 in Texas City, Texas to the late Samuel and Nattie (Alphonse) Morrow.
Dan graduated from Dickinson High School in 1967. He attended the University of Texas, Sam Houston State University and the University of Houston. Dan was affiliated with D.S.I. and served as Commissioning Manager.
An avid Texas Longhorn fan, Dan enjoyed sports and loved the outdoors. He enjoyed fishing, playing tennis and above all, spending time with his family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Robert Morrow and a sister, Vickie McDaniel. Dan is survived by a loving family; his beloved wife of 34 years, Becky; his son, Heath Samuel Morrow, of Houston; two daughters, Stacey Morrow and Mia Maegan Morrow, both of Houston; two sisters, Sylvia Austin and her husband Don, of Navasota and Esther Morrow Cunningham, of League City; nieces and nephews, Rendi Groce, Mason Chambers, Cameron Chambers, Chad & Robin Morrow, Robert Michael & Kristi Morrow, and Scott & Laurie Morrow; numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
A memorial service commemorating Dan’s life will be held at 4:30 PM Saturday, September 22, 2007, in the Chapel of Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway in Pearland with Pastor Johnny Brady, Bubba Chambers and Doug Troxell officiating.
