Harry Walter Locher III, 69, passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2015. Harry is survived by his mother, Althea Louise Locher; his loving wife of 49 years, Johnelle Locher; son, Lance Kevin Locher and wife, Rhonda; daughters, D’Laine Maris Locher, Nicole Locher Andrews and her husband, Buddy; sisters, Sharon Locher and Susan Glenn; grandchildren, Lance Ryan, Trenton, and Adam Locher, Maris and Carson Fechter, Harrison and Nicholas Little, Katharine Andrews; and a host of other family and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Harry Walter Locher. Harry was a man of great character and always led by example of honesty and loyalty. He was a hard-working, self-made man and started his first business when he was a teenager. Harry became a successful manufacturer and sold filtration supplies before moving into isolation manufacturing. He always managed to figure out the solution to any problem or build it a better way. Through business and travel, he made personal relationships around the world. His interest in other cultures and countries spurred many travels for him, Johnelle and his family. Harry cherished and prioritized family time with his children and grandchildren whom affectionately called him “Chief”. Harry had a host of friends, and once a friend of Harry’s, his loyal nature made you a friend for life. Harry will forever be remembered for his fearless, kind nature and generous, giving spirit. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Harry’s honor to the Star of Hopes Mission at www.sohmission.org. A visitation and rosary for Harry will be held Sunday, March 15, 2015, at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, Texas 77581. The visitation will be held from 4:00 until 7:00 pm with the Rosary recited at 6:00 pm. The memorial service and mass will be on Monday, March 16, 2015, at 10:00 am at St. Helen Catholic Church, 2209 Old Alvin Rd, Pearland, Texas 77581 with Father James Courville officiating.
