Obituary of Amy Slayton

Amy Slayton, 50, passed away surrounded by her loving family on May 18, 2015. She is preceded in death by her big brother Marin Gonzalez Jr and is survived by her children Steven Slayton and Sara Slayton, her parents Marin and Maria Gonzalez, Sisters Anna Gonzalez, Rose Soliz and Husband Ray, Linda Soliz and Husband Rick, Connie Gonzalez and Husband Warren, Carloline Gonzalez, Hope Gonzalez and Husband Mitch her brother Robert Gonzalez and a host of other family and friends. Amy’s greatest pride and joy were her children and she talked about them daily even in her darkest moments. Amy was also best friends with her mom and loved spending time with her. She would always respond to her dad’s voice even into her last days, she would hear him talk and would always perk up and tell him to be careful or that she loved him. She was loved deeply by her entire family and will be missed dearly. She is finally free from the pain and suffering that have kept her a prisoner for the last four years. A Memorial Service for Amy will be held Friday, May 22, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, Texas 77581.
