Aaron Travis Shiflett, lived most of his life in and near Angleton, Texas. Growing up and attending schools in Angleton, he graduated from Angleton High School in 2009. He is survived by his parents, father Roger K. Shiflett, mother Linda Meier; sister Lindsey Shiflett, grandmother Loretta Beyrer, stepfather Curtis Meier, step grandmother, Trudy Meier-Christiansen, step sister and brother in law, Sara and Joel Wrede, step brother and sister in law, David and Mallory Meier and, and numerous family members including many aunts, uncles and cousins in Texas, Louisiana, Oregon, Indiana, Colorado, and Tennessee.
Travis enjoyed mudding and working on his precious Bronco, “Chero” and other vehicles. He enjoyed cooking, fishing, and camping. He designed custom knives, loved hunting, being outdoors with friends and his dogs. He was a true Texan with a heart the size of Texas. He will truly be missed by many. A memorial service will be held Saturday June 27, 2015 at 10 a.m. at New Hope Church, East Campus, 108 West Edgewood Drive Friendswood, TX 77546.
