Obituary of Charlene Jeske

Charlene Ruth Jeske, age 79 of Pearland, passed away on January 27, 2009. She is survived by her loving husband, Jimmy Jeske; son, David Jeske & his wife Diana; daughter, Patricia Miller & her husband Art; brother, Johnny Stegemoller; and four grandchildren, Drew, Dustin, Dane, and Dannah. Charlene was born on September 2, 1929 in Indian Gap, Texas. She was happily married to Jimmy for sixty years. Her family was very important to her and she especially loved to cook for them and spend time with her grandchildren, who affectionately called her, “Grandma”. In her spare time, Charlene enjoyed crocheting and creating beautiful prayer blankets and shawls that she would give to family, friends, and fellow church members. She would be outdoors as much as possible. During pecan season, she made sure every pecan was gathered and none left to waste. Jimmy and Charlene could often be found relaxing at home in the yard, watching and feeding the birds. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who will be fondly remembered and greatly missed. Visitation for Charlene will be held on Friday, January 30, 2009 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm in the Clayton Chapel. The Funeral will be on Saturday, January 31, 2009 at 10:00 am also in the Chapel. Pastor Ricardo Sinesterra will be officiating.
