Obituary of Joan Meyer Reardon

Joan Meyer Reardon, a resident of League City and formerly of Tyler, Texas, passed away Sunday, July 1, 2007 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Joan was born October 2, 1922 in Portsmouth, Ohio to the late William H. and Bessie Clair (Seeley) Meyer. Joan is preceded in death by her husband, John E. Reardon and a son, Patrick Andrew Reardon. She is survived by a loving family; sons, Michael Reardon and his wife, Patty of Galveston and Tommy Reardon and his former wife, Karen of Ft. Worth; daughters, Beverly Dennis and her husband, Dr. Charles of Hattiesburg, MS, Linda Reardon and Dr. Janice Reardon, both of League City, and Mary Reardon of Austin; two brothers, William H. Meyers of Roanoke, VA and Louis E. Meyers of Columbus, OH; sister, Phyllis Meyers Frei of Diamond Bar, CA; 12 grandchildren, six great grandchildren and one on the way, numerous other relatives and a host of friends. A private celebration of Joan’s life will be held. The family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to Dr. Howard K. Rubin, his nurse Shawnee and the entire staff from A-Med Community Hospice for their care and compassion shared throughout Joan’s illness.
