Obituary of Ernestina Olvera

Ernestina Olvera, a resident of Pearland, passed away Wednesday, March 19, 2006 in Pasadena, at the age of 71 years. Ernestina was born February 26, 1935 in Rancho de San Vicente, Tamps., Mexico to Filiberto and Maxima Mata Olvera. She worked with the Alvin I. S. D. and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Ernestina is survived by a loving family; three sons, Alberto Gomez, of Pearland, Alvaro Gomez, of Portales, New Mexico and Benjamin Garza, of Reynosa, Tamps., Mexico; two brothers, Paulin Olvera and Margarito Olvera; seven grandchildren, one great grandson, numerous other relatives and a host of friends. The family will receive friends from 5 – 8 PM Sunday, March 19, 2006, at Clayton Funeral Home of Pearland. Funeral services will be held at 9:00 AM Monday, March 20, 2006, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 3311 Southfork Dr., in Pearland. Interment will follow at Houston Memorial Gardens.
