Obituary of James Lambert

James “Scott” Lambert, age 49 of Houston, Texas, lost his courageous battle with cancer on March 18, 2009. He is survived by his wife, Viola; mother, Julia Harland; sister, Patricia Madden & her husband Bill; nephews, Justin and Joshua Propp; and a host of other family and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Jimmie Lambert and sister, Margaret Lambert.
Scott was born on March 16, 1960 in Mobile, Alabama. He spent his entire life in the Pearland/Friendswood area and was a graduate of Friendswood High School. Scott had a strong work ethic and always provided for his family. Throughout his battle with cancer he never complained. Scott was very dedicated to his job as a forklift operator with Goodman Manufacturing and looked forward to returning to work. He loved to watch wrestling and enjoyed playing solitaire and bingo on the computer. He was also an animal lover. Scott will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
A Memorial Service will be held for Scott on Saturday, March 21, 2009 at 1:00 pm at the Clayton Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Thomas E. Rey will be officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Scott’s honor to: Houston SPCA, 900 Portway Drive, Houston, TX 77024, 713-869-7722.
