Obituary of Joseph A. Catarineau

Joseph A. Catarineau, age 67 of Pearland, passed away on April 24, 2009 surrounded by his loving family. He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph & Carmen (Robert) Catarineau and son, Kenny Catarineau. He is survived by his wife, Haifa; son, Mike Catarineau & his wife Paula; daughter Debbie Campbell & her husband Jeff; sisters, Sandra Raivo & her husband Gary, Mitzi Winter, and Alexandra Roberts; grandchildren, Bruce & Sean Logue, Tayler Campbell, Malone, Joseph, Jacob & Isa Catarineau; and a host of many other family & friends. Joe was born on April 3, 1942 in San Juan, Puerto Rico. He lived in the Houston area his entire life before residing in Pearland for the past nine years. Spending time with all of his family was one of his greatest joys. The grandchildren affectionately referred to him as “Grandpa”. Joe was a sports fan, especially enjoying the Houston Astros. He would often catch a good movie or sample different restaurants in search of a great steak. Joe was an excellent husband, father and grandfather and had eleven wonderful years of marriage with Haifa. Visitation for Joe will be on Sunday, April 26, 2009, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Clayton Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, April 27, 2009 at 11:00 am in the Clayton Chapel. Interment will immediately follow at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery.
