Obituary of Vera Faye Saucier

Vera Faye Saucier, age 85 of Pearland, passed away on May 2, 2009. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jesse & Alma (Hicks) Walls; husband, Murvel “Buddy” Saucier; brother, Edward Walls; sister, Dorothy Diamond; and twin siblings, Elmer & Alma Saucier. She is survived by son, Clifton “Kip” Saucier & his partner, Peter; daughter, Patricia Aubert & her husband Frank; brothers, Raymond Walls, Donald Walls, and Wayne Walls; sisters, Doris Bang, Martha Strang, Wilma Cooper, Betty Walls, and Annette Bates; grandchildren, Jimmy and Travis Willis; and great grandchildren, Ashley Gonzales, Maegan Aubert, and Carsyn Dietz. Faye was born on March 4, 1924 in Waco, Texas but spent most of her life in the Houston area. She was one of twelve brothers and sisters and throughout the years, remained close to all of her siblings. Faye and Buddy were married for fifty-two years. She was a wonderful cook and was especially known for her pecan pie. She could often be found gardening and enjoying the beauty of all flowers. Faye always looked forward to family reunions and made a point of staying in touch with everyone. Visitation for Faye will be on Tuesday, May 5, 2009 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Clayton Funeral Home. The Funeral Service is on Wednesday, May 6, 2009 at 10:00 am in the Clayton Chapel. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Grapeland, Texas.
