Obituary of Mary Geraldine Schwartz

Mary Geraldine “Gerry” Schwartz, age 75 of Pearland, passed away unexpectedly on April 30, 2009. She is preceded in death by her parents, William & Delia (Conroy) Byrne; husband, Jacques “Jack” Schwartz; brothers, Thomas Byrne and Patrick Byrne; and grandchild, Stepan Hurlburt. She is survived by her daughters, Ginger Schwartz and Janet Schwartz; brother, William Byrne & his wife Anne; sisters, Catherine Byrne and Eileen Carl; her special neighbors and friends in Country Place; and a host of many other family & friends. Gerry was born on June 23, 1933 in New York, New York. She loved spending time with her family. Gerry was a wonderful hostess and was known for her warm hospitality. She had an impressive Hummel collection and enjoyed cross stitching beautiful pieces for her family and friends. Gerry and Jack had a special, loving, marital bond that sustained for forty two years. They enjoyed golfing together and traveling all over the country. Gerry’s sense of humor and laughter will always be remembered by all those who knew and loved her. Visitation for Gerry will be on Thursday, May 7, 2009 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Clayton Funeral Home.
