Obituary of Bonnie Berryman

Bonnie J. Berryman passed away peacefully at home after a lengthy illness on October 22nd, 2009. She went to be with our Lord surrounded by her adoring husband and four daughters. Bonnie was born to Horace Leath and Donnie Leath Simons on January 15, 1938 in Tyler, Texas. She met and married the love of her life Billy, in 1957 and they were happily married for 53 years. Billy and Bonnie were blessed with four loving daughters. They traveled as a family to many countries and lived in many places but always called Texas home. Bonnie will forever be remembered as a giver with a “heart of gold”. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend who will be greatly missed by all the lives she touched. She is preceded in death by her mother, Donnie Simons, father, Horace Leath and brother, David Leath. She is survived by husband Billy Berryman; daughters, Stephany Felty and husband Gil, Stacy Smith and husband Craig, Starla Dalmolin and husband Andy, and Stana Gaboury and husband Tom; grandchildren, Ashley Simpson and husband Kris, Drew Smith, Alyssa Smith, Amanda Jackson, Ryan Morton, Nick Morton; step-grandchildren, Kandice Dalmolin and husband Matt Hanegan and Kristyn Dalmolin as well as beloved family friend Tom Warley. The family will be receiving friends on Sunday, October 25, 2009 at 1:00 pm at Clayton Funeral Home. A Memorial Service for Bonnie will follow at 2:00 pm officiated by Robert Burkhart and John Davis.
