My Condolences and prayers go out to Thelma and all of Marty & Thelma's Families. I was blessed to know Marty for many years. Marty was a sweet man, he was always joking with me or giving me a hard time. When I was secretary for Garden Road Baptist Church (where Thelma attends) he would drive by on way to breakfast, on way home, anytime he passed our church he would honk. I always knew they where running around town, when he'd honk. Marty scared me a many times to; he’d run up on me with his vehicle and blow that horn. He would to tell me (every time I'd see him) "You know I still honking at you, even though your not there." I was please to visit with them recently at Windsong and told Marty, ok I'm here, you can honk at me know. Of course he did just verbally instead of the real thing. God, take good care of this man and Marty I'll see you one day, I am sure there will be some type of horn in your hand to greet me too! Love ya
