Obituary of Cody James Carmody

Cody James Carmody, 23, passed away Saturday, December 17, 2016. He is preceded in death by grandparents, Thomas and Jane Carmody. Cody is survived by parents, Thomas and Rhonda Carmody; brothers, Tom and Matt Carmody; grandparents, Ronnie and Lajuanda Morrow; grandfather, Oscar Elliott; and a host of many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Cody had a beautiful spirit that truly loved his family and friends. He was strong in his faith, loved Christ and had a big heart when it came to helping other people. Cody enjoyed working with his hands and loved his career as a welder. He enjoyed the outdoors; either hunting, fishing or riding his motorcycle. Cody loved listening and dancing to his favorite country music. He will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Lighthouse Charity Team, www.lighthousecharityteam.com or the charity of your choice.
A visitation for Cody will be held Wednesday, December 21, 2016 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, Texas 77581. The funeral service will take place Thursday, December 22, 2016 at 10:00 am at New Hope Church – Friendswood Campus, 108 W. Edgewood Drive, Friendswood, TX 77546 with Pastor Mike Cervantes officiating. Interment will follow at SouthPark Cemetery in Pearland, Texas.
