Obituary of Ross Marlow

Ross Whiting Marlow, age 49, died on November 17, 2009. He is preceded in death by his parents, Eugene B. Marlow Jr. & Carrie (Freemantle) Marlow. He is survived by his girlfriend, Jackie Hurst & her son, Timothy Hurst; brothers, Burt Marlow & his girlfriend, Tammy Bondar, and Paul Marlow & his wife Angela; sister Arline Marlow & her boyfriend, Paul Murrell; nieces & nephews, Carrie Obenhaus & her husband Brad, Christopher Marlow, Ryan Evans & his wife Taylor, Deanna Evans, Misty Evans, Ava & Jacob Marlow; great nieces & nephews, Robert Goodman, Brookelyn Evans, and Lorelai Blake; and a host of many other family & friends. Ross was born on November 20, 1959 in Houston, Texas and lived here his entire life. Ross was very close to all of his family, especially his nieces and nephews, who he treated like his own grandchildren. Ross graduated from Ross Sterling High School and became an expert fixing electrical motors and equipment and started and grew a successful company called Marlow Electrical Service. Ross was a competitive person in all sports, especially golf and softball. He enjoyed supporting many charitable events throughout the area. Ross was a fun person to be around, always sharing his sense of humor with everyone. He will always be remembered for his laughter and generous heart and will be greatly missed. Visitation for Ross will be held on Sunday, November 22, 2009 at 10:00 am at Clayton Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will follow at 1:00 pm in the Clayton Chapel.
