Obituary of Edward Paul Boehm

Edward “Ed” Paul Boehm, 83, passed away Saturday, February 11, 2017. He is preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Katherine Boehm; wife, LaDonna Boehm; brothers, Robert and Leon Boehm; sisters, Jane Van Dyke and Freida Drees. Ed is survived by his son, John Patrick Johnson and wife, Kelly; daughters, Donna Haynes and husband, Michael, Debbie Schroeder and husband, Carl, Trish Knudson and husband, Rick; eight grandchildren, ten great grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.
Ed was a proud veteran that served his country in the United States Navy. He was an excellent provider for his family, a hard worker and a wonderful example of determination. Ed had several business ventures throughout his life and built a prominent construction company from the ground up. He was strong in his faith and believed strongly in supporting his Catholic Church. Ed had a loving devotion to the Virgin Mother Mary. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Services for Ed will be held Friday, February 17, 2017 at St. Helen Catholic Church, 2209 Old Alvin Rd., Pearland, Texas 77581. A visitation will begin at 10:00 am, the Rosary will be recited at 10:30 am and the Mass will follow at 11:00 am with Father James Courville officiating. To honor Ed’s wishes, he will be buried at sea with a full military service performed by the United States Navy.
