Obituary of Jesus Escobedo

Jesus Escobedo, 78, passed away Thursday, April 6, 2017. He is preceded in death by his parents, Isidro and Inez Escobedo; brothers, Gonzolo, Ernesto, Manuel, and Isidro Escobedo; and sister, Alicia Monzon. Jesus is survived by his loving wife, Martha Escobedo; sons, Fernando Escobedo and wife, Laura, Jesus Escobedo Jr and wife, Martha, Sergio Escobedo and wife, Kristen; Jorge Escobedo, David Escobedo and wife, Sandra; brother, Prudencio Escobedo; sisters, Rosa Carrillo, Adelita Mendoza; grandchildren, Fernando Jr., Bryan, Joshua, Jessica, Xavier, Julia, Amber, Kaytlin, Jacob, Zachary, Charli, and Melodi; great grandchildren, Evan and Aubrie; and a host of other family and friends. Jesus was a loving and devoted family man that took great pride in working hard to provide for his family. He took great pride in the accomplishments of his five sons and supported them in all their endeavors. Jesus enjoyed watching all sports from boxing to his favorite baseball team the Astros. He was excellent with his hands and could fix just about anything. Jesus loved being outdoors fishing or spending time with his family and grandchildren around a good backyard barbecue. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. A visitation and rosary will be held Monday, April 10, 2017 at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, Texas 77581. The visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 pm with a Rosary recited at 7:00 pm. The funeral mass will take place Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at 10:00 am at St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church, 5430 W. Ridgecreek Drive, Houston, Texas 77053 with Father Oscar Castro officiating.
