Obituary of Jane Lynette Louis

Jane Lynette Louis of League City was called home to the Lord on Saturday April 8, 2017. She was preceded in death by her parents Bill and Gwen McKnight of Houston, TX. Jane was born and raised in Southeast Houston, and was a graduate of Jesse H. Jones High School as well as the University of Houston. It was at U of H where she met her husband of 38 years Scott Louis. Together they were active members of Pearland First United Methodist Church for over three decades. She is survived by Scott, as well as her children Colby Louis of McKinney, TX and wife Angelica and their son Beckett, her daughter Kirbi Stellano of Wylie, TX and husband John, and their three children Wesley, Gwen and Harleigh. She also leaves behind her sister Martha Kay Sorrells and husband Jim of Tomball, TX as well as sister in law Kim Lomas of Denver, CO and husband Mike. She was also Aunt to several nieces and nephews and leaves behind countless beloved cousins as well. In lieu of flowers, the Louis family asks that memorial contributions be made to Christian Helping Hands in Pearland, TX and that all who are able consider organ donation as part of their final wishes. The Memorial Service for Jane will be held Friday, April 14, 2017 at 2:00 pm at First United Methodist Church of Pearland, 2314 N. Grand Blvd., Pearland, Texas 77581.
