Robert was a great and dear childhood friend during elementary school and high school.
It is interesting that a love of movies is mentioned in his obituary. As boys we both had jobs shining shoes at local but separate barber shops in Schulenburg Texas. After closing of the two shops, we would meet to spend our hard earned cash at the local Cozy Theater. Cowboy movies were our favorites (Randolph Scott?).
