Obituary of Dennis Earl Templin

Dennis Earl Templin, 73, passed away Wednesday, July 19, 2017.  He is preceded in death by his father, Robert Earl Templin.  Dennis is survived by his mother, Velma Templin; his loving wife of 36 years, Sharon Templin; daughters, Kristine Vassallo and husband, Johnny, Lynda Berlin and husband, Heath, Ashley White and husband, Bryan; brother, Lester Templin and wife, Barb; sisters, Loretta Kessler Saenz and husband, Ernest, Marilyn Morgan and husband, Jeff, and Lorayne Eubank; grandchildren, Kameron Clark, Connor Clark, Courtney Garbo, Sam Garbo, Landon Clark, Tilly White, Grant White, Bohde Berlin, Judah White, and Finley White; great grandchild, Gavin Clark; and a host of other family and friends.   

Dennis was born to Robert and Velma Templin in Wabash, Indiana on May 31, 1944.  After graduating from Somerset High School, he joined the Air Force and served in Vietnam. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Indiana and received his 50-year pin last year. Dennis worked for NASA in photography for 12 years and then spent 34 years as a salesman in the bearing and power transmission business. He loved a good game of golf, playing cards, and going on casino trips every chance he could. Dennis was a true outdoorsman that enjoyed bass fishing, hunting, and bird watching. He cherished spending quality time with his wife and family traveling and on camping trips in their RV. He will forever be remembered for his love of storytelling and devotion to family. Dennis will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Services for Dennis will be held at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W. Broadway, Pearland, Texas 77581.  The visitation will take place Monday, July 24, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.  The funeral service will be held Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at 10:00 am with Pastor Bryan White officiating.
