Obituary of John Thomas McNally

John Thomas McNally went to be with our Lord on Aug. 6, 2017. He was born in Genesse County, Michigan and grew up in Swartz Creek Michigan.  He was the son of Theron and Blanche McNally, of Swartz Creek Michigan. He enlisted in the Air Force and was stationed at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas.  John made Texas his home and loved it here. John had his own business designing and constructing custom metal buildings and barns, which he took great pride in. He met many wonderful customers, which turned into great friends.

He is survived by his wife, Joy Boutwell McNally; son, Trinidy Boutwell and wife, Hannah Stoval Biondo; grandchildren, Elizabeth Boutwell, Joe and Grace Biondo. He is also survived by his sister, Monica McNally of Swartz Creek, Michigan, numerous nieces and nephews, as well as great nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Theron and Blanche McNally; brothers, Tom, Gregg, Tim; and sister, Paula Ketchmark Backus McNally, all of Michigan.

John never met a stranger. He was known to be very caring and always helped others. He had a very strong faith in our God.  He loved to fish, to watch the sunrises while drinking his coffee and listening to the birds. He also loved to see the sunsets and the beauty they possess and loved listening to music.

He will be truly missed by so many.

A celebration of life service for John will be held at Clayton Funeral Home on Sunday, August 13, 2017 at 2:00pm, located at 5530 Broadway, (FM518), Pearland, TX 77581.
