I am so sorry to hear of Matt's passing. I have such fond memories of the 10 year old Matt in fourth grade. I enjoyed reading about the adult Matt became, especially that he loved hot, spicy, food. He will be missed by all he touched. Your family and friends are in my thoughts and prayers.

I'm so sorry for the loss of your loved one. When I went through the loss of my father a scripture that brought me comfort is Isaiah 41:10. There it invites us to turn to God for strength and comfort. He promises to "fortify" you and says "I will really hold on to you with my right hand". Matt and I were at Kemah Palm during the same time. He was such a fun guy. We would sit and talk about everything. He was such a gentleman. After our time in KPR we would meet Matt at A&K meeting on Friday night. He always had something wise to offer up when he would get up and speak. My heart breaks for the family. He will be missed so much from the sober community. Im so blessed to have had him as a friend during recovery. May you rest in peace dear friend. I know God has a beautiful place for you in heaven. You are now a perfect angel dancing among the stars.

I'm sorry for yall's loss. Matt was one heck of a young man & and awesome nephew He will forever be with our family. Matt & I may not of kept up as often as we should.ve but when we saw each other he made sure to give me a hug & to ask how I've been.
