Sorry I missed the funeral ceremony and service afterwards at Golfcrest for I desired to express my condolences and express how much I enjoyed the many, many rounds of golf I had with Ed and his friends. He always made the rounds interesting with his competitiveness and could not wait till the next round. I also knew Ed from ours days working for the space program. I was familiar with the organization he worked in and knew that all his associates appreciated his service to assist all in getting the job done often under difficult stressful schedules. All of you in the family should be proud of his contribution to this country's historic space programs.

I will always remember the years that I worked with Ed at NASA; especially those busy years during the Apollo era. He could always get the answers for Mr. Ralph Sawyer, our Division Chief. Mr. Sawyer depended on Ed for the budget and making the "numbers" work--Ed was a genius at that. He had a quick wit and friendly nature that had no bounds. All of his friends from NASA will miss him.
God bless all and Rip Ed!

Dear Dad,
Thank you for being there for me in all my times of need. You taught me many life lessons and made me the person that I am today. I will always remember all the good times we had and have very fond memories of the times we spent together in boy scouts, little league baseball, playing golf, watching football games and playing spades and gin rummy. I will miss you dearly, but I am happy your suffering is over and you are in heaven now and at peace.
Fairways and Greens on those tough courses in Heaven!
Love, Eddie

Ed was the kindest and most gentle man we have ever known. We loved his sense of humor. He has already found someone in heaven to play a round of golf with him! Betty, Eddie, Judy, Alan and grandchildren, know you are in our prayers. He is in Heaven now, but while here he made an impact on lots of lives. Dana Kimmey and Elaine Peterson
