Obituary of Jorge Joel Nunez

Jorge “Coco” Joel Nunez, 36, of Houston, Texas passed away on Saturday, January 13, 2018. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Sarah Schenfeld; parents, Eva Nunez Gonzalez and Mateo Bravo; sons, Xzavier, Joey and Elijah Nunez; daughter, Breanna Nunez; brothers, Mateo “Juny” Bravo, Jr. and Fernando “Nano” Nunez; sister, Mariana “Nina” Bravo and a host of many other family members and friends.

Coco loved to read and listen to lectures about metaphysics, he was always searching for the truth, always curious and inquisitive. He loved to cook, and he made the best tacos in the world. He loved music, video games, art and made stickers that have made it across the world, he loved to create. Coco enjoyed crabbing and exploring new places in nature and the city. He loved his family more than anything in the world, worked hard and was very passionate about creating a future for his children. He was generous, caring, kind, honest, smart, respectful and patient. Coco was a wonderful husband, father, friend, brother, and son.  A great listener, could talk to anyone about anything, and made friends everywhere he went. He was funny and silly with a heart of gold, he was well respected by many for his character but extremely humble and was always eager to redeem himself for any mistakes that he felt that he made. Coco was so many things to so many people, truly one of a kind and irreplaceable. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

A visitation for Coco will be held at Clayton Funeral Home, 5530 W Broadway, Pearland, Texas 77581, on Sunday, January 21, 2018, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. A remembrance service will begin at 5:00 pm.
