Jay Badugu, 83, made his transition on April 11, 2018.

Jayprasada Rao Badugu was born in Guntur (India).  He graduated from high school at 14.  He was also the first in his family/clan to go on to college.  He obtained his Masters Degree in Commerce in 1957 from Lucknow University.  While working in Bangalore, New Delhi, Calcutta, Poona and near Bombay he obtained professional licenses as Cost Accountant (India) and Chartered Secretary (Commonwealth).

He came to US in 1972 and completed MBA at Northwestern State University of Louisiana.  He obtained another professional license as CPA and was also admitted to Mensa.  After working in various corporations, he briefly tried running his own Accounting Practice.

Jay is blessed with two children.  His daughter, Sibyl, who lives in San Diego and son, Ujwal, who lives in Plano with his Daughter-In-Law, Shelby.  He has three grandkids, Zheryk, who lives in Chicago, Joy, who lives in Allen and Janeen who lives in Dallas.

After surviving a stroke in his forties and two heart attacks in his fifties, Jay enjoyed, till the end, playing tennis, bridge, yoga and tinkering with his home computer.

He was deeply religious.  He read the Bible cover to cover many times, and attended many churches over his lifegime, but like all humanity before him, he never found the meaning and purpose of life.  May his soul rest in peace.
