Irma Lee Buckner November 28, 1919 - March 09, 2013 Irma Lee Buckner, 93 passed away in Baytown, Texas March 9, 2013. Born in Van Zandt County Texas November 28, 1919. Mrs Buckner’s greatest pleasure and joy were her family and sailing with friends, she was a member of the Galveston Bay Power Squadron, Houston Yacht Club, LaPorte Garden Club, LaPorte Reading Club and longtime member of First United Methodist Church in LaPorte. Survivors include her Son Chuck Buckner and Daughter Jan Buckner both of LaPorte, Grandchildren David Buckner of Dallas and Todd Buckner of League City, Great Grandchildren are Taylor Buckner, Austin Buckner, Cole Buckner and Tori Buckner, Nieces and Nephews are Penny Bell, Gail Northern, Ronnie Ragain, Cathy Ragain Hanson, John Young, Amy Young Brown,Dan Crume, Jina Crume Bedgood . Family will Receive Friends at the Funeral Home Tuesday from 6-8 P M with Services Wednesday at 11:00 A M at the First United Methodist church in LaPorte interment will be Thursday 2:00 P M March 14, 2013 in Van Texas at the Union Chapel Cemetery. In Lieu of Usual Remembrances Donations may be made to Boys and Girls Harbor 514 Bay Ridge Rd Morgans Point, Texas 77571
