Obituary of Angelia Jo Burd

Funeral Service Tuesday, Apr 05, 2016 Angelia Jo Burd January 20, 1966 - April 15, 2016 On January 20, 1966 a baby girl named Angelia Jo Ferguson was born only to be called home too early on April 15, 2016 Angelia Jo “Burdi” Burd. An abundance of love was given and received by this wonderful woman. She became a devoted wife, protective mother, patient grandmother, and gentle caretaker. Angie graduated nursing school in 2006 as a member of Phi Beta Kappa and Head of the student Nursing Association of College of the Mainland. She was artistic and creative which lead her to being the co-owner and master mind of all beautiful designs developed at the Burd’s Nest Antique Boutique Shop in Bacliff, TX. She had a heart of gold, arms of warmth and voice of kindness given to anyone and everyone that crossed her path. She will be truly missed and forever remembered by family and friends, including devoted husband Michael Burd, Children Randy James, Jennifer Pertuit, Jodi and Lee Durison with gammies baby Kaycen, also Jason and Jenae Burd, Her parents Sally and Loyd Breshears and Phillip and Philis Ferguson. Brothers Dale Ferguson and wife Tracy, Shane and wife Viki, Troy Ferguson and wife Rhonda. Also the joy of her heart and soul, the grandkids that knew her simply as “SUGAR” Kaycen, Devin, Keegan, Ty, Austen, Ashlyn, Attison, Jazya, DeMariyah, and Royale. Services will be 10:10 A M Tuesday at Paul U. Lee LaPorte Funeral Home Chapel 201 S. 3rd LaPorte Texas 77571. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home Monday from 5-8 PM. Angie Burd will be laid to rest in her hometown of Gladewater, TX. Wednesday at 1:00 PM in the Union Grove Cemetery.
