Ray Talmadge Burton, 88, of LaPorte passed away December 24, 2014. Born in Stigler, Oklahoma February 14, 1926. Veteran of WWII serving in the Navy a member of American Legion post #521 in Pasadena. Preceded in death by a daughter Teresa horn, Survivors include Children Lannie R Burton and wife Jo, Mellony Burton, Sisters Yolando Roberts, and Jean Morgan, Grandchildren Kelly Permantier and husband John, Steven Horn, Thomas Goff, Ray T. Burton and wife Glenna, Michael Burton and wife Shauna, Misty Burton, Tiki Alexander, Angie Kuykendall, Dietra Kuykendall, 17 Great Grandchildren & numerous Nieces and Nephews also survive.
Services will be 11:00 AM at Paul U. Lee LaPorte Funeral Home Chapel Tuesday with interment to follow at LaPorte Cemetery with Chaplain Pat Savage to officiate. Family will receive Friends at the Funeral Home Monday from 6-9 PM.
