Obituary of Juanita Bussey

Juanita Bussey February 06, 1922 - February 24, 2009 Evelyn “Juanita” Bussey, 86, passed away Tuesday February 24, 2009 in Pasadena, Texas. She was born March 6, 1922 in Hamby, Texas to Margaret and John McMullen. Juanita was a Past Worthy Matron of the Eastern Star #683, the La Porte Chapter. She is preceded in death by her first husband Lester Owens and second husband Jake Bussey, and is survived by Jake’s family. She is also survived by sons William D. Owens and Janie, Ronald Owens and wife Ellen, sister LaVerne Lewis, grandchildren John Owens, Amy Pavlik, Christine Owens, Monty Owens, William Owens, and great grandchildren Cayla, Megan, Joshua, Madelyn, Chance, and Payton. Visitation will be held Thursday February 26, 2009 at 6-8 PM at Paul U. Lee La Porte Funeral Home. Services will be held Friday February 27, 2009 at 11 AM at the funeral home as well.
