Donnie Joe Byrd August 16, 1942 - October 12, 2014 Donnie Joe Byrd, age 72, passed away October 12, 2014 in La Porte, Texas. He was born August 16, 1942 to parents Lorene Coan and William Byrd in Sweetwater, Texas. Survivors include his sister Beth Hayes, Daughters Alicia Escobar and Mario, Colleen Barfoot and Jack, Son Donald Byrd and Dana, Grandchildren Lisset Escobar, Samuel Barfoot, Xavier Escobar, Isiah Escobar, Jeremiah Escobar, William Byrd, and Sarah Barfoot. Visitation will be held Wednesday October 15, 2014 at Paul U. Lee Funeral Home from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. and a graveside service to follow at 12:30 p.m. at Grandview Cemetery with Wendell Gill officiating.
