Obituary of Felipe B. Naranjo

Felipe B. Naranjo Jr., died on January 27, 2010. He is preceded in death by his father, Felipe Naranjo. He is survived by his mother, Maria (Bustamante) Naranjo; brothers, Leo Naranjo, Tony Naranjo, and Ben Naranjo & his fiance, Jodie; sister, Lupe Flores, Linda McCoy & her husband Claude, and Helen Flores & her husband Noe; and a host of many other family & friends.
Felipe “Jr” was born on March 22, 1967 in Victoria, Texas and resided in the Houston area for 42 years. He was a highly skilled heavy equipment operator and worked for Troy Sand. Jr had an open heart and was constantly encouraging everyone. He enjoyed getting together with his family, cooking for them, and playing and having fun with his nieces and nephews. Jr enjoyed spending time with his friends and treated them like they were part of the family. In his spare time he enjoyed hunting and fishing and anything having to do with the outdoors. Jr was also a strong supporter of Ducks Unlimited. He also loved to cook for benefits and competitions. Jr was very close with his father, Felipe, and missed him daily. Jr was loved by all and will be dearly missed.
Visitation for Felipe will be held on Tuesday, February 2, 2010 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm in the Clayton Funeral Home Chapel with the Rosary beginning at 7:00 pm. The Funeral Mass is on Wednesday, February 3, 2010 at 11:00 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 6502 County Road 48, Manvel, Texas 77578, 281-489-8720. Rev. Vince Dulock will be officiating. Interment will follow at Confederate Cemetery in Alvin, Texas.
