Alice Mable Cave December 29, 1921 - March 23, 2013 Alice Mable Cave, 91, of La Porte, Texas passed away on March 23rd, 2013. She was born in Troy, Idaho on December 29th, 1921 to Benjamin and Hazel Steelsmith. She was preceded in death by her husband Walter Cave and son-in-law Bernie Knowles. Alice is survived by her children Lynda Darline Knowles, Margaret Erwin and husband Bill, grandchildren Patricia Taylor, Scott Knowles and wife Nancy, Tracey Zepeda and husband Jose, Tina Pettis and husband Tom, Beth Hibbeler and husband Randy, Lisa Farmacka and husband Brett, Eric Erwin and wife Becky, great grandchildren Kathryn and Nicholas Taylor, Erin, Jonas, and Charlie Knowles, Lucas and Noah Zepeda, Chris Pettis and wife Nicole, Kayla Pettis, Cody Pettis, Dave Andre, Brynna and Cassidy Farmacka, and Ethan Hibbeler. Visitation will begin at 12:00PM Thursday March 28th, 2013 at Paul U. Lee Funeral Home and service will begin at 2:00PM. In lieu of usual remembrances donations may be made to the La Porte Community Church Alice Cave Memorial Fund.
