I'm so thankful to have been a part of the service for Jimmie. It is something I will never forget... I just loved her to death, and will miss her greatly for th rest of my life. I am especially thankful for the other friends that spoke during the service so that the fun-loving side of Jimmie was told, as well as the special relationships she made at her job.
She was just one in a million.
Thanks to Ronda Bland and Donna Hughes for their help and guidance as we prepared for the service "on the fly". And again, my sincerest thanks to the Choate family and especially Joe for scheduling the service so that I could make it back...
I am especially proud to say we have collected over $1,000 in honor of the Jimmie Choate Memorial Scholarship, with more to come I am sure... I am excited about creating an annual award in Jimmie's honor.

Jimmie was one of the kindest, loving, sincere and caring people I have had the pleasure of knowing. Working with her on the TWBA Board of Directors was my distinct honor and pleasure. She always had kind and encouraging words. She was such a lady and I mean Lady with a Capital “L”.
Jimmie had smile that would light up the room and was a wonderful ambassador for the sport of bowling.
She shared her love of her family with all of us, she was so proud of you all.
God bless you at this time of your loss; trust he will help you through this time of loss. Jimmie will be missed dearly, she was special to me. I will always remember her fondly; she touched my life and always will have a special spot in my heart.

Joe, i am sorry about your loss. I know that there aren't any words that can ease the pain that you are experiencing at this difficult moment in your life. I only pray that God will give the necessary strength to get through this. Though she may not be physically present the memories forged over the years will keep you together for ever.

Words cannot express how much Jimmie has been missed over the past year during her illness; her presence at the Bowling Lanes has left a void which will continue into the future. However, we know she is pain free now and in heaven with our Lord; and for that we give thanks.
I feel blessed to have know Jimmie and treasure the good times that we had at all the bowling activities we attended together.
I asked God to bless and keep Jimmie's family in their time of suffering; watch over and keep them strong that they may get through this time of need. My deepest sympathy to the entire family.

Jimmie was without doubt one of the nicest, most sincere women I have ever known. I smile whenever I hear her name. Her sense of humor was classic. How else would she have dressed as Mae West and "performed" at not one, but two Fun Fairs at the TWBA conventions, never missing a beat and making one believe we were seeing "the real deal". I will miss her smile and positive outlook. She was so proud of her family, especially her grandkids, telling me stories about you all. God bless you all as you deal with the loss of someone so special. And God bless our Jimmie, for there will be no one like her.

I was so sorry to hear of Jimmie's passing. She was very kind and caring and she will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her. I hope there's a bowling center in Heaven just for her. Push the quarters, Jimmie.
