Obituary of Jimmie Maxine Choate

Jimmie Maxine Choate January 31, 1934 - February 28, 2009 Jimmie Maxine Choate, 75, of La Porte passed away Saturday February 28, 2009. She was born January 31, 1934 in Waco, Texas to Clara and Jim Dancer. She retired as an administrative assistant at P.P.G. Jimmie loved bowling, she enjoyed playing and teaching the game. She was a former Board member of the Texas State Bowling Association and the Pasadena Bowling Association Hall of Fame. She is survived by her husband Joe Choate, sons Randy Allen Choate and wife Linda, Ricky Dale Choate, and grandchildren Cory Choate, Casy Choate, Courtny Choate, and Carly Choate. A memorial service will be held Thursday March 5, 2009 at 2 PM at Paul U. Lee La Porte Funeral Home.
