Donald “Donnie” Cline, 64, of La Porte passed away Monday August 30, 2010. He was born October 3, 1945 in Houston, Texas to Marguerite Smiley and Ernest Cline. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Vernon Cline, and grandson Lawrence Dennis. Donnie is survived by his wife Nelda Cline, children Winston Cline and his children, Russell Cline and his children, Tammie Martinez, William Fox, Leigh Fox, sisters Arlene Allen, Ernestine Edgemon, grandchildren Jessica Deshotel, Jonathan Deshotel, Kenton Fox, Stephen Fox, and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Visitation will be held Tuesday August 31, 2010 at 6-8PM at Paul U. Lee La Porte Funeral Chapel. Services will be held Wednesday September 1, 2010 at 10AM at the funeral home as well, interment will follow at La Porte Cemetery.
The family would like to thank the staff of Odyssey Hospice for their care.
