Obituary of William Andrews

Funeral Service Friday, Jun 22, 2018 9:00 AM William Andrews January 22, 1946 - June 16, 2018 William “Bill” Andrews died peacefully at his home on June 16, 2018 in La Porte, Texas at the age of 72. Bill passed in the arms of his children, and surrounded by his grandchildren and family. Bill is survived by his children: Michael Andrews and wife Sandra, Susan Dunn and husband Jason, Chris Andrews, Terrie Burkes and husband Ronnie, Bobbie Seaton and husband JJ, Jackie Montemayor and husband Jaime. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his son Joshua Andrews, wife Nancy Andrews, mother Ida Mae Reid, father Levaughn Andrews, and brother Marion Andrews. Bill was born on January 22, 1946 in Repton, Alabama. He was a skilled welder by trade. Bill married Nancy Ruth Robins and had 7 children. He was a kind hearted man who always had a funny joke, was good at making a short story long, and enjoyed spending time with his son and best friend Michael. Bill’s presence will be dearly missed by his family. The family would like to pay special acknowledgement to Sandra Andrews. Her love, compassion, and caregiving for Bill brought great comfort and peace to him and the entire family. He loved her like a daughter. Their equally matched stubbornness brought laughter many times but neither would have had it any different. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 22, 2018, at 9:00am and Service at 11:00am at Paul U. Lee Funeral Home, 201 S. 3rd Street, La Porte, TX. Bill will be laid to rest at Earthman Memory Gardens Cemetery in Baytown, Texas.
